CUET which stands for Common University Entrance Test was earlier known as Central University Common Entrance Test -CUCET which is a National Level Exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admissions to different undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is conducted once a year being one of the reasons why students eagerly wait for CUET Applications. CUCET 2024 scores will be accepted by nearly 256 (44 central universities & 212 other universities) universities including central, state, deemed and private univeristies to take nearly 1.8 lakh admissions. According to NTA, CUCET 2024 Exam will be held in multiple shifts within 10-15 days.CUET exam is scheduled from May 15, 2024, to May 31, 2024. It is going to take place in 388 in India and 24 outside India. The CUET exam will be conducted in a CBM i.e. Computer Based Mode. CUCET 2024 Application Form Date has been out from 27th February 2024 to 26th March 2024. Any student who is a 12th pass out can apply for the CUET exam but 12th scores will not carry any weightage as their admissions will be CUCET scores based. • The candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for the CUCET 2024 examination.
• The candidate should have passed Class 12th from any recognized board.

Q- What is the exam date for CUET 2024?

A- National Testing Agency (NTA) has scheduled the CUET 2024 for undergraduate and postgraduate courses from May 15 to 31, 2024 and March 11 to 28, 2024. The CUET UG Application forms were out on 27th February 2024 to 26th March 2024 & CUET PG Application forms were out on 26th December 2023 to 24th January 2024 for the candidates to apply for the exam.

Q- How is the CUET exam conducted?

A- The CUET exam 2024 is conducted by NTA in two shifts. The first shift is in the  morning which starts at 9 am till 12:15 pm and then in the afternoon from 3 pm to 6:45 pm. Candidates need to take a total of 9 tests that cover all three sections - Section I, Section 2, and Section 3. They need to opt for a maximum of 2 languages from Section I, a maximum of 6 Domain Subjects from Section II and 1 General Test. In the first slot, candidates can opt for any one language from Section I and can choose a maximum of 2 subjects from Section II - domain subjects and the General Test which is obvious to attend. In the next slot, they can choose any one language from Section I and a maximum of 4 domain subjects from Section II.
