UPSC conducts CDS exam twice a year as CDS 1 and CDS 2 for the recruitment of officers in various positions of CDS wings. UPSC CDS I recruitment takes place for filling up approx. 341 vacancies. Willing candidates can apply for the exam by the last date of CDS I i.e. 09th January 2024. Candidates planning to take the CDS I exam 2024 must go through the previous year's cut-off to get a clear idea about the expected cut-offs.
